Description:
The River Valley Ramble trip will take you through some of the most spectacular scenery Hanmer Springs has to offer. With time to relax and to stop and enjoy the views, we spend more than two hours in the beautiful Hanmer Springs River valley, and finish up enjoying the view from the Hossack station.
Our trip will have you crossing the Hanmer river many times, practicing your Quad bike skills in our playground, negotiating a 400 metre scree climb, all topped off with a hot cuppa on a glacial moraine.
View and explore the towering hidden chasms of the spectacular yet relatively unknown "Blue Cliffs". Then... accept the challenge of a ride up a natural shingle scree, spilling approximately 400m down and out of the surrounding hillside, followed by light refreshments and photos near the top. This truly is a Quad bike Safari with a difference!
You need to allow about two hours for this adventure.
