Your first vineyard tour starts at Herzog Winery and 5 star restaurant, established in the early 1990s. It is home to premier wines of the region, including world class Pinot Noir. Here you will enjoy a tasting of their hand crafted wines in their stylish tasting room.
Arrive at Grove Mill where sensory experiences abound. Smell the bouquets common to Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc with a unique Aroma Demonstration. Taste fine wines matched with tasty morsels and see the different grapes growing in Grove Mill's unique Vine Library. Grove Mill also boasts a wonderful art gallery for your perusal.
Your lunch break is at the picturesque Alan Scott Wines after dining on a gourmet 4 course wine matched lunch you can relax in their unique mud brick building and taste their range of wines - and what a taste sensation.
Experience the passion and flair of Johanneshof Cellars; visit their underground cellars resonating to the echoes of bygone centuries through which the modern winemaking craft has evolved. Here vintage harvests rest and mature 20 metres below ground, in New Zealand's first rock cellar. Here have the chance to taste one of the finest methode Traditionelles in the Marlborough Area.
The last sensational stop of the day is Makana Chocolate Factory – a delectable combination of assorted hand made chocolates. See the craftsman creating the chocolates and taste the results. Take home a delectable chocolate truffle to finish off your special Marlborough day out.
