Voucher are valid for 12 months from date of delivery, and are open dated. Back to top.
How long do gifts take to be delivered?
All gift orders are processed on the day they are received, when they are received during working hours (Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5.30 pm). Gift orders received on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next working day.
There are 3 options for gift voucher delivery:
NZ Post (free) - delivery time is usually next day within Auckland, and 2-3 days elsewhere in New Zealand.
Overnight Courier ($4) - overnight anywhere in New Zealand, excluding rural delivery addresses. There is a Saturday delivery service available, but this is not always reliable. There is no delivery on Sunday.
One Hour Courier (price dependant on delivery address, ranging from $7 to $45) - this service is available within the Auckland metro area only when orders are placed during working hours. Orders received for one hour delivery outside of working hours will be processed as soon as feasible on the next working day.
Physical items - all physical gifts are sent by courier and you need to allow 2-3 days for delivery. Delivery will be charged at $4 per delivery.
Outside New Zealand - this service is available for vouchers only. NZ Post takes 7-10 days. Express services are available (2-4 days) and range in price from $25-45. Back to top.
Can the recipient swap the voucher?
All Gifts To Remember vouchers are able to be exchanged during their period of validity. Vouchers can be swapped for an alternative selection at a similar value, or at a higher value upon receipt of payment for the difference. Back to top.
How does the recipient redeem the voucher?
An information sheet is provided along with each gift voucher that explains in detail what the gift is, and how to book. All vouchers are open dated so the recipient has the opportunity to book for the experience at a time convenient to them (subject to availability). Back to top.
Do I need to specify a date when I purchase the gift?
No, all vouchers are open dated and valid for 12 months. The person receiving the gift can book the experience at a time convenient to them (subject to availability). You can request a specific date for an experience and we can see if it is available for you and make the booking if required. Back to top.
How will the gift be presented?
Vouchers are packaged in a black presentation envelope with a Gifts To Remember logo on the front. The envelope contains a personalised voucher, an information sheet detailing the gift, and a small matching gift tag. Gift messages are hand-written on the gift tag. This can be viewed here.

What payment options are there?
Credit card - we accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Amex & Diners. This can be processed immediately.
Direct credit - on receipt of your direct credit order we will supply you with bank account details. Your order will be processed when payment is receipted into our account. We bank with the ASB, so if your payment is from an ASB account, the transfer should be immediate. For other banks the transfer will occur overnight.
Some clients have successfully transfered payment to our account from banks outside of New Zealand, but the bank charges can be expensive.
Direct deposit -
within New Zealand you could make a deposit directly into our account at any branch of the ASB.
Cheque -
gifts will be despatched on receipt of your cheque. Both bank cheques and personal cheques are accepted.
Eftpos - you can stop by our office in Royal Oak to pay by eftpos and pick the gift up.
Debit card - some UK clients have had success making payments with a UK debit card. This method does not seem to work reliably.

You can order gifts from anywhere in the world for delivery in New Zealand. Vouchers can be posted to overseas addresses, this usually takes 7-10 days in the post (a free service). Express services are available (2-4 days) for $25-45. Back to top.
How do I know where the gift is situated?
Each price list page has a code that refers to an area. The codes and locations they represent are described at the bottom of each page. Back to top.
Is it safe to put my credit card details into the shopping cart?
Yes. The shopping cart used by the Gifts To Remember website is hosted on a secure server and all details are encrypted before they are sent over the internet. With modern encryption technology this method of sending credit card details is safer than giving them over the phone or sending them by fax. Back to top.

What options are there if I can't make up my mind?
Selection gift - these provide a range of 10-14 choices for one price in a location. The person receiving the gift can choose which experience they would prefer. Click here for details.
Dollar value vouchers - you can give gift vouchers to a dollar value so that the person who is receiving the gift can choose a gift to their taste and interest. They will be able to do this by visiting the website as you have done or if they do not have internet access by obtaining a hard copy of out catalogue or phoning us. Click here for details.
Swap policy - don't worry, the recipient can swap their voucher for any other gift in the Gifts To Remember range, so there is sure to be something that will suit. Back to top.
Can I pay in a currency other than New Zealand dollars?
All prices quoted on this site are in New Zealand dollars. If you access a currency converter on the internet this will give you an idea of the equivalent value in your currency. When you make a payment by credit card the payment is in New Zealand dollars and will be converted by the credit card company to your currency and will usually appear on your statement in both currencies.
